This seems a bit unprofessional from Apple. If Gmail or Outlook weren’t sending
email, there’d be a lot more uproar over it. Yet with iCloud I see no
indication of it anywhere online.

Hi,
The phone doesn't have to be locked to do a manual backup. It's just that
automatic backups only happen when it's locked.

Apple produce a Windows programme which may solve your issue. It is called
iCloud For Windows.
Once installed, your Windows machine will probably need to restart.
After restarting, you will be asked to sign into the software with your Apple
ID and password.

Hi Mark,
I am curious. Do you think that doing that would merge the files? So let’s say
you have Safari bookmarks already. And you want to add some that you bookmark
in Firefox or chrome or whatever. And you do the steps that you recommended.
Will the result be one merged bookmark file? I know o
Hello Lyne,
As far as I know, there is not a direct way to send your PC web browser's
bookmarks to Safari in iOS/Mac OS unless you install a compatible browser on
both systems.
However, were I you I would: (These are the broad strokes, only.)
1.
Enable iCloud drive on my PC.

Actually I downloaded iCloud via the Windows Store and it is somewhat
accessible there. Jaws reads the checkboxes as you tab and you can use the
touch cursor as well.

Hi all
Firstly, thanks to those who replied about what settings to check on my new
IPhone - was much appreciated.
I have a couple of queries regarding ICloud photo library and Google photos on
my devices (IPhone and IPad). I’d very much like to be able to get the 2
libraries to work in sync,
Hi Keith,
Open Settings in Voice Dream Reader, and go to Cloud Sync. Make sure "Sync
library using iCloud" is on. If it is, your books will be backed up to iCloud
and restored if you restore your iPhone.

I guess my Voice Dream library isn’t that big then. I’ve gone through 3 iPhones
since Christmas2015 when Santa brought me VDR, and have transferred including
Voice Dream Reader, to the point that it’s with the first books I uploaded!

I have subscribe to the 50 GB iCloud thing, but I also have a Mac. So I’m not
sure. It’s not really clear to me if you had a successful iCloud back up of
your device, but the Voice Dream Lee reader library messed up with that
sinking, how would you get that back on your phone? In other words, I

I will be delighted if I am wrong about this, but starting with ITunes 12.7,
apps no longer are backed up to an encrypted backup. When one restores the
device, the latest version o
