Hi, glad this trick works for you as well. If I'm going to type a
comma or just one or two numbers, or one or two symbols, the
double-tap and hold is faster than double-tapping the more numbers

One other neat trick I like in case the press twice thingy doesn't work
for you is you can tap and hold, or rather double-tap and hold the more
numbers button, and then slide up to the z and let go. This inserts a
period as well. The reason is because when you double-tap and hold the

I think you have to tap the second time with in 1 second or less. Also,
the feature needs to be enabled from Settings > General > Keyboards.
Hope that helps.

You would do this with VO on. ALthough be aware this is not a VO-specific
feature. You got some other great tips as well which will add to your toolkit.

Also FYI you can go down a little further to shortcuts and add snipits of text
that can be expanded. I use this for text that I want to enter that I enter
over and over again. for example my signature below is typed with the letters
ffl and it writes
VaShaun Jones
. President .

Be sure you have this feature turned on. Go to settings, general, Key
board, then period shortcut. Be sure the toggle switch is on.
Also, it will not work if you haven't typed a word in first.
I tried and even gave a full second between taps, it worked every time.

You have to do the tap in a rhythum. You will have to practice, but it should
be a tap followed by another tap in quick succession. No more than 1 second
apart.. Practice and you will get there. Basically you need to tap so VO

Sorry but I just can't get it!! Whenever I tap the space bar I get the space!
If I hit the space bar twice I get two spaces inserted. Just can't get the

any help will be highly appreciated. Many blessi
Just tap and raise, tap and raise quickly. That is a tab twice quickly

Hi!
I read somewhere that the shortcut for quickly typing a period
followed by a space is to press the space bar twice quickly. How can I
do that while I'm touched typing with Voice over enabled? Help please.
Thank you!
