This is a new feature of the app. I suspect, there might be some bugs that need to be ironed out. I have had no problems with the audible app. I think I might have bought a book with cash from the app myself. I just did face ID and double tapped the side button twice, and it worked just fine

Thank you for getting back to me on this. Yes, I got this issue resolved today. I contacted audible and they had me sign out of my audible app and then re-sign in again. The app behaved really strangely after that only showing half of my books and moving really slowly. So I closed everything in

You have to write the individual app developers as they are the ones who have to make sure their apps are compatible with the version of iOS they say works. If Audible says it runs on iOS 11 and above and it does not work correctly on iOS 13 then Audible has to fix it and not Apple
