RealVNC does not provide a file transfer facility. You should either make
use of an ftp server or try a VNC flavour that support file transfer, such
as UltraVNC (Windows only)

the D-link but into one of the LAN ports! :-)

the internal LAN with the vnc server running on a PC is connected on the
internal IP address range
The internet connection is via a broadband router connected on the other
network card on a different Ip address.
Internal PC's use Wingate
Network Admin says I need to change the DLink router settings so it routes to itself.

I have my settings at Permit All for winvnc4.exe, Permial All for VNCVIEWER.EXE, and
Monitor and Permit WINVNC.EXE I do not run VNC as a service on either machine, I only
run VNC when I am actually going to use it. I just chose those options when the
programs were first launched, and it has
