Wim,
This is probably because Pinnacle is using video overlays. You'll need to
reduce the video Performance setting in My Computer - Properties -
Advanced, to prevent overlays from being used.

Theo,
Error 10060 does NOT mean that no process is listening to the request. It
means that no *computer* responded to the request. This is most commonly
because of firewall configuration or because the IP address that you are
using is wrong.

It sounds like the Mac OS X VNC-based server that you are using is either
not fully compatible with the VNC standard, or has some bug in handling
security methods.

Carlos,
Sorry, I assumed from the fact that you're using an old release of VNC
Enterprise Edition that you would not be using a trial license.
Can you connect from a viewer on the machine itself to the server running on
that machine?

I am confused. The computer doesn't respond does it? Some software that is

Patrick,
The log indicates that the server you are connecting to claims to support
RFB 3.888, which is not a valid version of the RFB protocol - valid versions
are 3.3, 3.7, 3.8 and 4.0.
Where did you get the faulty server software from?

The project you're referring to is the OSXvnc project, which is based on our

I'm not sure I understand your question. I'm needing to accept connections

More than likely your viewer is automatically downgrading the connection due
to low bandwidth.

Okay Karim...
Beware: you are hung up on the word reverse.
You are assuming it's meaning, but there are 2 reverses here,
and you should only be using one. Often you use the wrong one!
Because of this you are getting a lot of conflicting answers on this list.
Now that I got your attention:
