My daughter has an ibook (my suggestion) and loves it. Runs quite happily on LAN at her house with other (windows) laptops and pcs. She was told she can' t connect to the wireless network in the library at Curtin because they don't support macs Is this true? If so, I obviously gave her the

most (all?) of the cheap/mid range LCD monitors have SVGA plugs (infact some of the dirt cheap LCDs we have been buying here ONLY have SVGA) so they should work with the G3 which, . I think the second release G4 towers (Sawtooth) being the first with AGP and having the optional Pro version

I have never been able to trust Safari to work for Bank transfers etc. I keep my Internet Explorer for only one purpose.. banking. It works with BankWest (yuk), United Credit Union (great) and Virgin Credit at least. Lloyd Thanks people for letting me know that I am not alone with my issue!
