Hi Merv, Yes, I agree with James. I have used MPEG Streamclip successfully to convert a DVD's .VOB files to DV. Which is what you want to achieve. Then import the DV file into iMovie and edit, then send to iDVD to create your DVD. This would be your cheapest way to go. You can then buy you
