At the login screen click restart and see if the computer restarts
normally?
If you can get it to boot up, you might need to get rid of any of the
10.5.8 install and then download the Combo update and try
One thing I didn't mention -- during the procedure, I had the OS X

Hi Severin,
One other idea is to make a partition on the local hard disk and clone a copy
of the DVD there - this would mean you'd always have a copy handy, even if your
DVD failed - touch wood.

I like the ShareCard app myself, but I don't know about those who are
worried about privacy issues, as you aren't sending the vCard via your

Hi Andrew,
I agree with you, the settings allow you to have certain info turned
off or on, but we are not the only people asking for the ability to
send from the default mail account on my iPhone. I'm hoping they will
bring this out in an update soon.

Hi Gary, have you tried doing save as to create a duplicate file rather
than just save to save to the existing file.
It might help if there is some problem with your existing file - it could
also help if the problem is a locked folder - just select a different
(unlocked) folder to save to.
Hehe, that's OK. :o)
No harm done,..lol.
Hope you enjoy your glass or two of red.
Enjoy!
