Hi. I've noticed some odd behaviour with 10.4.1. I have Safari and Mail open and after a period of time of surfing, checking my email, I go to minimise Safari, for example, and neither the orange button or double clicking the title bar allow me to minimise. This is then also the case with Mail.

Hi! In the end all that I had to do was reformat my new hard-drive and everything worked like a dream. I could easily transfer most of my files to the new drive. I assumed that because I had bought the drive from an Apple retailer that it would have been ready to go with my Mac. Lesson learned!
