Mac reading a Mac CD

A CD burnt on my eMac using Toast Titanium cannot usually be read by on an iMac. The disc either tells me it is a DOS disc or wont do anything except spin crazily. Will 'Joliet Reader' installed on the iMac(s) fix this problem? TIA Kevin

Not on the disappearing topic, but I do not seem to have the ability to make the dock rise like a wave as I move the mouse along it. Have seen it on other Macs on X but our eMac doesn't seem to have that rather nice feature. Am I missing something that is obvious? TIA Kevin

Tray loader Probs

Our 333 iMac with a tray loading CD is giving problems. It doesn't recognise CDs burnt on the eMac and farts around until eventually saying that cannot recognise the CD and wants to intialise it. Is there a software fix, OR, does anyone have a wreck to sell me another CD reader? TIA Kev

invisible folders

eMac OS 10.2.6 and OS9 I have a problem emptying the trash with an item named "Expert Games Browser' saying it is locked. Cannot get rid of it using option/shift and when I restart in OS9 I can find it and dump it but it wont go away...says it is in an 'Invisible Folder'. any ideas gratefully

CD player problem

When I burn a music CD compilation for use in my car it skips tracks etc. Commercial CDs play well. My car CD player is 10 years old. I am using Toast Titanium to burn the CD. Is there a setting that will cure this problem? Again TIA Kevin

I have a Jenoptik digital camera of 1.3 megapixels. When I save files through photoshop as jpegs they end up around 600-800k. A friend has a Mavica which creates files of around 5-10kb. Is the Sony Mavica able to compress better? Should I save as something else rather than Jpegs? TIA Kevin
