Hi all,
I'm running a project with my YAC creating video projects entirely using
iPhones. Hoping someone can recommend tripod mounts and external microphones
for the iPhone. Preferably someone local (we're on a short timeframe).

Yes James, there is a lot of difference in their input levels. The
internal mic registers well at 50% input volume, and records
normally. The external mic doesn't register with normal voice, but
will register a loud voice. I can record with the external mic via

Like most other people, my first suspicious would have been "Line In"
versus "Microphone In" (i.e., pre-amp issue), but you wrote that the
input level is showing 60-70% already. Here is a little app that you

That was my problem too Adrain.
Hence my purchase of an external microphone.

Yes, I had the same problem. You need a USB Logitech headphone and mic
and you will have no probs.
