Hi folks,
I have a iMac 24² mid 2007 model and the logic board has failed.
Some advice would be appreciated if it is worth getting fixed, and also any
recommendations
of a repairer.

After a couple of months of intermittent not waking up from sleep and then
finally no screen but the computer is running I took the MacBook Pro 17" to a
tech who said It appears that my March 2008 Mac BookPro has the faulty logic
board issue.

Our old faithful Dual 2.0 GHz PPC G5 is doing the "3 flash" boot. Even
though this is supposed to indicate bad RAM (tested with other RAM with
same result) I know this is likely to be a logic board. I'm sure I'll
dig up a service manual somewhere and explore f

Just a stab in the dark.
I have seen weird screen artifacts, not to mention behaviour, on macs
that have bad RAM.

I got "Logic Board Fault" when running the test with two varying messages :
2FAN/4/8:Fan For BACKSIDE
and
2FAN/4/8:Fan For SLOT
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the fans...
