A few days ago the category on Jeopardy was TV show openers; the clue
was "a boy and his father are walking to the lake with fishing poles;"

I let this slip past me while I was busy this past weekend, but Sunday, 13
September 2015 was the 50th anniversary of the 6th Season opening show on TAGS.
The episode was "Opie's Job" where he competes with Billy Crenshaw for the
groceries delivery job.

The Surry Arts Council just got confirmation that Morgan Brittany will be able
to attend the festival again this year. She will be in the middle of a book
tour and is expected to have copies of her new book called "What Women Really
Want", Faith, Family and Freedom, that comes out on September 1

Tickets are now on sale for the October 2 celebration of the 50th Anniversary
of TAGS to be held in Autryville, North Carolina (approx 60 miles south of
Raleigh and 14 miles east of Fayetteville)at Long Branch Baptist Church. Show
