Not sure if this is still an issue or not, but a little while back the #1
cause of complaints for Zoom were students using the Zoom app on a
Chromebook. If those students deleted the app and used Zoom via the
browser their issues went away.

Hey -
We have started getting reports of issues with Zoom calls in our Res Halls. Most
of the complaints have been around multiple drops during calls or lagging calls.
Our res halls are currently only at 40-50% capacity if that.

Had this problem in the fall. Problems were
* Blocked APs (we use hospitality units every other room) (pillows, mini
fridges, you name it) typically in the adjacent room
* Old laptops with 2.4ghz radios
Suggested to go wired if possible or to get a dual band USB radio.
