[wsjt-devel] Missing grid square info

2018-12-02 Thread Bill Mullin
I'm an FT8 newbie - made my first QSO with this mode less than a week ago.  The below problem may have been discussed before and I apologize if I missed it.  Anyway, I notice that both my LOG and ADI files are randomly missing grid squares. Here's my last 6 QSO's, all made today: 2018-12-02,13

[wsjt-devel] 2 Questions

2018-12-03 Thread Bill Mullin
These questions are from my most recent use of 1.9.1.  If changes have been made to RC5 which cover the subjects, sorry! 1.  In Settings > Reporting, if I do NOT check "Prompt me to log QSO", will WSJT skip logging or do it automatically?  FWIW, I'd hope it was the latter since this would remo

[wsjt-devel] WAV files

2018-12-06 Thread Bill Mullin
I posted this with the FT8-digital-mode group but was not able to find a fix to the problem. Looking in the folder C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\WSJT-X\Save, I found 100's of .WAV files.  I realize that they can be deleted from the WSJT-X File menu, but is there any way I can simply tell the pr

[wsjt-devel] 200 or 2000 Hz

2018-12-10 Thread Bill Mullin
I asked this question on another list but did not get a usable answer: With 1.9.1 we were told to use 200 HZ to Start and change this to 2000 Hz for RC5.  Which should we use for the 2.0.0 GA version?  Is there some frequency that may be better than 200 or 2000? Thanks, Bill - AA4M _
