Hi
I had a very similar problem with my R8600. I did try to find the
cause but gave up trying a debugging version of Hamlib.
Versions of Hamlib before July 2024 work OK and I don't think there
are any features lost
as far as the R8600 is concerned.

Hi Bill:
Have you been able to find root cause of the crashes of WSJT-X in rc1 please?
Just about any operation I do, crashes about 50% of the time with same result:

Waterfall bake-off: WSJT v10 vs. WSJT-X :
WSJT v10. Nice waterfall with great detail. Six months ago, I would have

Why I currently favor WSJT-X waterfall:

To operate 630m on IC-7300 I use an 80m-630m transmit converter,
this has worked flawlessly until recently.
I'm not sure how to describe this but Ham Lib appears to be recalling

Adrian,
Regarding your “need to rework the station”, all the data you need to log the
QSO is in WSJT-X’s ALL.TXT file. I occasionally have to use that to record a

Bill,
Selecting the slider often changes it, at least on a Mac, so you have no idea
what the original setting was. Having a way to adjust it without having to be a
touchpad ninja would help.

Bill,
I don't know about anyone else's setup, but my max power, no ALC power slider
values are radically different per band. There is no one analog drive level
adjustment on my interface (RigExpert Standard) that'll give reasonable power
levels on all bands. My rig is a 756PRO, BTW.

If you add that (and I hope you do), please make it a spinner box so we can
adjust it with up/down arrows by preferably 0.1 dB increments.

Can Short-Hand messages be added for Q65A (used at 6m) also please?
It’s helpful to have those single-tone messages Q65A at 6m EME because I have
