Excuse my ignorance.. This virtual machine idea is something new to me. Ive downloaded the vmware Xastir-Hardy and have a complete zip file intact.. Now to run this do I need a Vmware player installed like the current one from vmware being version 2.0.4 ? That was a guess. Is it correct ? Tony

out about 5 mins after plugging it in.. Here is what I found.. The TNC-X appeares as /dev/ttyUSB0 .. Note the Uppercase USB zero. I set it up in Xastir as a Serial KISS TNC at 9600 Bd. Finnished. Works great. No drivers required to be loaded. Ubuntu 7.10 is Kernel 2.6.22 Hope this helps. Tony
