Thanks,

I am currently running xmail on Redhat 9 with kernel 2.4.20-8. On

Here is what I have setup in the crontab to run nightly.

I used to use SLMail on a Windows box. It did rather well for 3 years
or so, until the number of users started getting above 150. After that
point the Windows drive would become too fragmented too fast and it
would hard lock the machine. I was able to convert to xmail by writing

I've had an issue with a few pop accounts like you are describing. I'm

that the network connections were set to 10 MB Full duplex. In certain
parts of our building we only have 10 MB switches, so I set the NIC down

Yes you can whitelist a certain ip address but I don't think that you
can whitelist one single email address. It will have to go by the IP
address of the email server getting blocked. You will have to put this
in the smtp.ipprop.tab file ex.
"206.211.112.214/32""WhiteList=1"

XMail has now been running stable since Feb 19th.

I'm running XMail 1.17 and RedHat 9.0 and I'm having trouble with XMail

day. XMail stops responding so none can send or receive email messages.
I have checked the queue and I didn't see anything unusual in it. Also,

Did the smtp.ipprop.tab just appear with XMail 1.17? If so, I upgraded

I'm using blackholes.five-ten-sg.com as one of the CustMapsList for
stopping spam. It's blocking a domain that I need to be able to receive

Thanks,
How are you determining what XMail is using? Are you running Top?
Also, does the machine or XMail lock up?
Thanks,

Use http://www.uebimiau.org/. This link will get you to uebimiau, which
is a pop3 reader. That's what I use, and it has a nice interface with
it too. This way you won't have to worry about a imap problem, if you
are wanting to go over webmail.
