setting up MRTG is as simple has running the cfgmaker and editing the
.conf (which is _REALLY_ straight forward)

as long as your devices support SNMP, MRTG can monitor it (ie: routers, adsl
'routers', linux, freebsd, win2kserver, etc etc, doesnt matter what
OS or hardware, as long as it supports SNMP)

i got it working first time. its not MRTG thats a mission to setup, its
the SNMP part...

i couldnt find anywhere on the net that had a nice tutorial on SNMP for
freebsd, but since my adsl router was already configured with it, MRTG was
a breeze to setup. you simply tell it where to fetch it's stats (ip &
interface, plus a little more)

Evaluating SSL VPNs' Consider NEOTERIS, chosen as leader by top analysts!
The Gartner Group just put Neoteris in the top of its Magic Quadrant,
while InStat has confirmed Neoteris as the leader in marketshare.

Find out why, and see how you can get plug-n-play secure remote access in
about an hour, with no client, server changes, or ongoing maintenance.
