Language dependency is an enabling step for some types of language features. Like all programming opportunities, if you cross the line of binding and cohesion at places where that limits your choices, then you might have more trouble in the future. Why would I use 4 different languages and train 4 different development groups on the use of 4 different development environments, deployment systems etc?
