Hello Everybody,
I want to know how advantageous it is to use swing components in the
applet GUI design. I have installed the JAVA 1.1 plugin in both the IE
5.0 and NS 4.5 browsers. I have used swing
components(JPanel,JButton,JTextField,JLabel,JComboBox).
The applet is not being displayed in both the browsers.
The ERROR - in IE 5.0 - applet <name> cannot be instantiated.
The ERROR - in NS4.5 - class definition not found (java.swing.JPanel).
Is it OK to use the JBCL grid control?
I'am also having problem editing in the swing controls.
I'am sorry that this question is not related to servlets, but I soon
will be having a lot of questions on that too.
Any suggestions on GUI design and Layout are welcome.
Thanks everybody. I'am getting all my help from you people and I
appreciate it.
Bye.
-Kiran.
