GUYS:
Been up to my gills lately and more away from the computer than behind
it - but I did look back long enough yesterday to see I made a little
glitchie in one part of my explanation the other day. Dave is correct
on the issue that the COR is higher for the lower speed in the way he
stated it. I said the other way but later in my comments I came back to
reality and said the same thing correctly. And to follow with a final
note on the thinner faces that cannot survive the USGA standard ball
speed COR test, the USGA will always agree to test any head (as long as
you send the $75 fee that goes along with it!!) and will change the test
speed to accommodate your head, but you have to tell them about it for
sure or otherwise they will run the standard COR test everytime.

Happy 4th Everyone!!!

I think Tom answered my question. The USGA tests at 109 mph and the
thinner face
might break at that speed. So you don't get it tested. Tom said that
they will
test at lower speeds however.
