As a hobbyist like Bernie, I don't feel that I need to price my clubs at any
certain level to protect the "professional" clubmaker.  There is one simple
reason, which is that my "customers" are not planning on buying from anyone
else anyway.  If they don't get the clubs from me, they will either keep
playing what they have, or probably buy OEM.  Since I have to convince most
of my "customers" not to buy OEMs in the first place, I don't feel like I am
taking any business away from a "professional" clubfitter.  Besides, here is
SE Connecticut, there aren't many clubmakers around that I know of, and some
of the work I have seen is pretty sad (cut and glue specials).  Just my
opinion, based on my situation.
