Further to the above, reading the bug thread more carefully it appears that it was not fixed in 0.12.8-0ubuntu2 but was fixed in Ubuntu at some point, but not clear which version. Also the bug links to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=615743 which appears to indicate that it is fixed but again does not indicate which version of Rhythmbox, though I think the fix was Feb 2011. @OP which version of Rhythmbox have you got?
