Many thanks David, I thought there would be an elephant in the room. Looks like OSCommerce should be able to hand the complex ideas she has in mind, like a referral programme etc.
Some reassuring feedback I've got (thanks Mike) is that her existing site/ecommerce solution at http://realchai.com.au/ seems pretty much fine — that the biggest bang-for-buck would be for a) improving/getting an online presence in Twitter, facebook, Youtube etc b) Adwords (she currently buys none!) Finally, She actually does own realchai.com, in addition to realchai.com.au. In my software field, I would naturally focus on the .com, and redirect the .com.au BUT she's doing the opposite. Any comments on that? Should having a tangible, local, product affect that decision?
