You know, as a mutt and a gmail user I find this talk of a 'better
mail client' interesting. I absolutely detest gmail's 'email
composer'. Given most people are using Outlook which imho is
absolutely horrible, you may have problems getting people to 'adopt
something different'.

Having said that outlook has a few features which Mutt(gmail has 'some
of these') doesn't have - like mark for follow up etc. (which is also
open to abuse.). IMHO we need a better workflow. One thing you could
do - which I would like to see is applying Bayesian or other
approaches to filter email automagically(and not into my spam folder).
Manual filter rules are so 2006!

I had hopes for mozilla raindrop http://mozillalabs.com/raindrop/ .
Sadly from the repository commit history it would appear that
development on raindrop has stopped :/
