Forgot to add 1) Withdrawing $US money from a commbank account in the USA will cost you about $10 a pop, a colleague who had a westpac account got free withdrawals when using bank of america, so for long trips it may even pay setting up a westpac account if you dont have one. 2) Be sure to check out a Whole Foods Market
