4) For me, T-mobile was 2GB of 4G and unlimited edge after that. I picked up
the HTC sensation which gets 4G in US and 3G in Aus (Virgin). It's a bit of
a mess to be honest. In my experience, AT&T required contracts, whereas with
T-Mobile, I can turn it on and off as I travel back and forth.
15) Definitely agree with Geoff on this one (Set up a Bank of America
checking account). Best move I made.
And I would add:
- Plancast and Startup Digest are your friends. In SF, you can easily find
free beer and pizza (and networking!) 3 nights a week.
- Get a bike. Not just for speed, but for dodging the crazies in the CBD
(it's like a Zombie movie!)
- Stay in South Bay if:
- You have investor meetings lined up on Sand Hill Road
- You want access to Standford
- You want peace to JFDI
- Stay in SF City if:
- You want to go to lots of events
- You want to cross-polinate in a co-working space
- You want to go out at night
