Um. Er. Have you heard of wind? The whole point of navigation is
that your reference system doesn't have an unknown translation (drift)
and nonlinear transformations (vortexes). Pheromones are only useful for
gradient navigation, mostly in mating. Volatile trail markers
mark terrain, not individuals.
