Hi, again, Charles, I just bought a Bottle of something called Cholacol ,
sold through Health Care Professionals, this morning. This comes from
Standard Process, Inc. Contains .2mg iron, ( I am wondering about that part)
Ingredients: Collinsonia (root) and purified bovine bile salts. Other
ingredients: honey and calcium stearate. I am a little scared to start
taking it. Think I have had trouble with bile salts things back a few
years. However, then I still had a gallbladder. I may have invested in yet
another bottle of pills to sit in my medicine cabinet till I dump them out.
Shouldn't have been so hasty. I haven't opened them yet. I will explore
the gallbladder site you gave me tomorrow and see what they suggest. Ruth

Hi, Charles. The antigas med I spoke of is the drugstore brand of colace,
consists of simethicone. It is available OTC and is less expensive than
the name brands. IF I don't take it, the gas piles up in there and seems
to stop everything. I sometimes take an enema and the first return will
frequently be preceded by a huge passage of gas and water.
I don't pretend to know exactly what is going on with you, but gas is
*generally* the result of fermentation - which is generally the result of
not enough digestive enzymes and/or bile (to digest fats) and or HCL
(hydrochloric acid) to digest animal proteins.
Have you ever tried a quality HCL and/or Bile digestive aid/supplement?
My thoughts are with you...
