Thanks for that Steve. I use 240 volts because this is the UK, but it is transformed to the US type. I only make a quart at a time, and usually it is from just pure DW but I have cut an hour nearly off when I had about two ounces of a former brewing in the jar. I also use the reverse polarity as that stops build up, or crud dropping to the bottom, but this of course, makes it take longer too. dee
