In Moderation, once in a while, I agree. Its the tone of the ad that
turns me off. It reads like a wholesale permission to throw caution
to the wind and eat whatever you want. Of course that means selling
you more and more of their product. :-$
I would love to see a study done on the effects of long term use of
this product. I can't believe that it won't be doing a lot more
harm than good.

I think we all understand that the carb blocker would only be a small part of
all the things we do to ensure good nutrition. I love to go out to lunch with
friends and enjoy a varied diet....some of which is not the best, but is very
enjoyable to eat. So, a little extra help is available and I don't have to
feel quite so guilty about doing what I enjoy. I could sit at home and slurp
up a raw veggie shake....

Excuse Me !! I got that information directly from the website that was
posted to this list.

I'd suggest that you read the article before you accuse me of making things
up.

I still see very large RED FLAGS when someone says Take my pill and
you can eat whatever you want, you don't have to change anything. This is
the classic Quick Fix that is a trap that Americans at least have fallen
into over the years. I meant no offense, was just stating my opinion
since someone asked.
But no one except you are saying that it would mean that you can eat whatever
you want. It certainly does nothing about fats or sugars or salt or anything
else, only starches. And if a person is on a starch limited diet due to being
diabetic like my wife, it is a godsend for her to be able to eat at least
halfway normally. It simply is what it is, it reduces the ability to digest
starches by neutralizing the enzyme that converts starches to sugars. No magic
bullet, simply a way to help try to keep her blood sugar in check.
