KV Vet Supply probably has the best price. Jeffer's Livestock supply has good prices too. You may want to factor in shipping. I buy it a
gallon at a time since it stores well for years.

Hi LIsa,

I own the DMSO list and have been using DMSO on myself, my family and my animals for about 6 years and even longer in my horses, more
like 25 years.

I use anywhere from 5% up to 70% DMSO depending on where and
what I am using it for. Sensitive skin areas need lower concentrations or you can get blistering. It is also used IV by the medical profession. Treating trauma, stroke and heart attack are its best known uses.

The very rare individual is unable to use DMSO but it is still wise to test a small area of skin first. You will see some redness and itching if it is an area that contains Mast Cells, the storage cells for Histamine. This is not an allergic reaction but DMSO releasing HIstamine from these storage sites. This is depleted with continued use and then there
is no reaction.

The book DMSO Nature's Healer by Morton Walker is about $10 from
Amazon. It has much information on the uses of DMSO as well as its history and the political controversy created by the pharmaceutical
industry over its use. Dr Stanley Jacob, the many who developed
DMSO for organ transport, takes 4 cc a day orally for the past 35+ years. He is in his late 80's and writing a 16 volume set on DMSO.

Here's what one web page has to say about DMSO:

Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)

DMSO is a by-product of the wood and paper industry and has gained prominence in recent times as a highly effective agent in the treatment of herpes, cancer and other diseases.

It is known for its ability to permeate living tissue and stimulate cellular processes.

American doctor, Stanley W Jacob has worked with DMSO for many years and is considered one of the foremost authorities on the substance in the world. He states the following with regard to the therapeutic potential of DMSO: "We've barely scratched the surface of DMSO's capabilities, for this is a new principle in medicine. We've only had three new principles in our century - the antibiotic principle, the cortisone principle, and now the DMSO principle - and the DMSO principle is the only one of our generation. Despite all the controversy, my guess is that history will record it this way."

Dr. Morton Walker in his book, DMSO: The New Healing Power, describes how it blocks pain, reduces inflammation, kills bacteria and fungii, reduces blood clotting, improves circulation, neutralizes free radicals, stimulates the immune system, and hastens the healing of wounds.

It is used for everything from minor cuts and cold sores to insect bites, athletic injuries, arthritic aches and pains, and cancer.

DMSO is known for its unique solvent ability that penetrates the blood/brain barrier and is used with B17 intravenously to deliver the principal treatment deep into the body without changing the latter's chemical structure.

DMSO is renowned for its ability to penetrate the body's tissue rapidly and completely. Some clinics use it on all types of cancer, though EIC Therapy doctors prefer not to use it with cases of liver or kidney disease.

Cancer seems to respond well to DMSO. At Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, Charlotte Friend MD has turned cancerous cells into harmless, normal ones in the test tube by putting them in touch with the DMSO solutions.

DMSO is routinely used by alternative cancer clinics in Mexico to transport laetrile intravenously into the body. Because of extremely promising clinical results, research is still ongoing on a privately funded basis into DMSO's potential role in the breaking up of tumors and the killing of metastatic cancer cells in its own right.

Hi.I'm fairly new to the group (so new that I'm awaiting the arrival of my kit to start producing CS J).

I've got a question - what is DMSO and are there directions on how I could add this to my own CS once I get the equipment to start making it?

Thanks.

*Subject:* CS>CS for someone testing positive for HIV

Hi to all list members,

Want to report some recent lab results for CS that confirm its good reputation. As a holistic therapist in Paris, I have been working with someone who has been tested positive for HIV. A couple of weeks ago he began to panic when a blood test indicated a viral load of 300,000 per unit of the blood sample. (Not sure of what the amount was because I didn't see the report). The blood test had been requested by his GP when his "flu" symptoms continued for three weeks accompanied by extreme fatigue. Based on this blood test his doctor told him he would have to go to an out-patient clinic for HIV and ordered a second blood test to confirm the viral load. I gave him two quarts of CS with 5% DMSO and he began taking about two tablespoons every half hour for the first 48 hours, then every hour and gradually tapering off to 4 times a day. He continued taking CS until the second blood test 8 days later. He called to tell me that the second test showed that the viral count was down to 90,000 per unit tested. He was relieved to hear his doctor tell him that no treatment would be required. He's continuing on maintenance doses of CS with DMSO (2 Tsps in the evening and in the morning) and also drinking fruit kefir (non dairy), eating well and creating a healthier lifestyle. He's due for a control in December.

Hope this information is helpful for someone.

Best wishes,
Carlene
