I have just dug deeper and the Vitamin C Foundation actually refute this article Louise. They printed it but show in another article that it is WRONG. I believe Brooks Bradley has also done a lot of research involving ascorbic acid with much success also. They say that the work done by Linus Pauling is correct and that ascorbic acid *is* Vitamin C.
