Might work for snake and spider bites too !!
Either Hypochlorus acid or sodium hydroxide...the ionic electrochemical products of electrolysis with salt water [blood] should change the chemistry of just about any venom or anti coagulant.

Now I wonder if you can "shock" a tick out of your skin.

Hi Del,

I have succesfully applied mild electricity to tick bites. A 9 volt
battery (or even a 1.5 volt would work just use a bit longer time) apply
one terminal of battery to the dampened bite site and apply the other
terminal to a dampened finger on the same side. Keep this contact for a
minute. then change the polarity.

The easiest to manage would be a 1.5v cell , a D cell or an AAA or
anything in between. a swipe of saliva on both end; place a finger on one
end and place other end on the bite. and hold that for say 5 to 10
minutes. The change the cell around so that the other end in on the bite;
to chase the current through the other way. And do the same amount of
time.

Do this several times a day for a day. If the bite site is still itching
or swollen or hot, indicating infection then do above another day . And
so on.

OK,
Tony
