There is definitely a great deal to be explored in this area I think. But I think a number of variations in setups can accomplish it. The quart I was brewing reached 110uS. I got bored and stopped. I see no theoretical limit to the amount of silver ions we can put into solution. The batch was clear with a slight amber (not yellow) tint.
