I agree about the palm oil. But.. I was giving you the article in it's entirety and did agree with the writer about his references to coconut oil. Palm oil can be some nasty stuff. lol.. Generally speaking, any prefabbed foods or processed foods will have some undesirable ingredients in them. What are the advantages of rice bran oil?
And you are so right. There are some wonderful oils out there (for salads, etc) if high heat tolerance isn't necessary. I read somewhere tho that almost all oils are already rancid by the time we purchase them (whether organic or cold-pressed or not) and get them home with the exception of coconut oil. Some say coconut oil can last ten years or more?
