Yes,  that is what I had always heard. Single celled organism = bacteria -  
Virii are not,  they are forms of DNA/RNA  a totally  different pile of worms,  
but apparently  CS does work on at least a few of them  such as  HIV, HepC  and 
some of the  Herpes  of which shingles is a part.
