No I meant citric acid,  also present in citrus fruits  and very prone to
allergic reactions  when taken in large amounts.

A
herx is usually from die-off and the toxins overloading the system.  Why the
focus on citric acid?  Did you mean ascorbic acid?

I'm not a doctor hon, nor even a
scientist, but my guess is that if you are herxing you've done something to
stir up the bad guys. :)

Be very careful you don't wind up with
an allergy to citric acid.

When I first began making KT= it tasted
so good I drank about 12-16 oz of it in one fell swoop.   Major
HERX-   very uncomfortable, but not life threatening.   Start
small and build gradually.

Hi Zoe,
This
looks very exciting!
I've
been liquifying lemon quarters (whole) and drinking them in my water, rather
than just the juice. I'm also doing sea salt and Vitamin C for my Lyme disease
(have done so for 5 years and it's definitely helped a lot)
My
question: Is the whole citrus a major increase in my routine of C this way?
I've been herxing more lately, so am wondering if I'm killing more pathogens
than usual.

Be
well,
Léna
