I read, some time ago, that one should always keep some concentration of
hydrogen peroxide in the catheter bag to keep it sterile.  This author felt
it was "criminal" not to have this as a recommended policy.  (Not sure if
it was Hydrogen Peroxide: Medical Miracle by Dr William Campbell Douglass.
I think it was.)
