There are 3 teaspoons in 1 Tablespoon, 2 Tablespoons in 1 ounce, and 4 Tablespoons in 1/4 cup (2 ounces). That means there are 12 teaspoons in 1/4 cup.
If you have food poisoning, take a much larger dose all at once, like 1 cup. Otherwise, many have found that relatively small doses taken more often are actually more effective.
