Hi Carol:
I am afraid the distilled water was store baught (from SafeWay).

However Some years back I used to distill water for my mother-in-law ( She
passed away- not because of the water). But here in Manitoba, Canada the tap
water is fairly clean and the electricity (hydro power) is very cheap.

As a matter of fact I think I will revive the old distiller for our own use.
Even here distilled water is hard to find, while all kinds of spring/mineral
water is available widely. We started using Culligen water (reverse osmosis)
for consumption. It does have some dissolved stuff in it.

I haven't figured a way to measure the condutivity/ppm. As soon as I find out
I will post it here.

Regards
Harsha Godavari
