Many discussion groups have touted using hydrogen peroxide (3%) drops in the ear to shortcut a cold or other virus. I tried it, it works. So does CS! It's been said that the ear canal is more of a breeding place than the nose. Could be... It makes sense during the flu season to wash your hands and keep them away from your eyes,ears, nose and mouth.
