Paula, I generally has been found that when most people's CS turns yellow they have be guilty of washing their brew cell with soap or detergent, or else brewing too long.
If you are washing anything used in making your CS with either soap or detergetn you must rinse several times with very hot water and let dry do not wipe!!!!
