Actually the poor old dog was thriving on Lamb and Rice Kibble until she
started getting into the cat food, which had wheat in it. I had been
feeding the cats in the laundry room up until then.

So no comment on the energetic differences in consciously slaughtered
meat? Lots of people have thrived on very high meat diets for millennia.
That is what WE evolved from.

Cereals, grains, root vegetables were all eaten last, when the winter
stores of meats were depleted. Strange that these ancient peoples did
not know any better? Or did they?
