I have seen videos showing that this has been done also using acidic
water, in Japan. A man with severe diabetic gangrene also avoided
amputation merely by soaking his foot in acidic water, generated by one
of the devices that makes alkaline water. The best devices let one
choose the pH, from around 2.6 up to 10, I think.
