Thinking about this, I think I am ok with removing the TLS if it makes your life easier as it looks like you are de-facto maintainer(?).
Can anybody explain why the TLS should be removed... What is exactly the problem and why it is better to throw them away? Ok, it is dead and at90s1200 is gone somewhere. accepted. But I simply want to understand why something should be removed. ;)
