From what I can tell on the Polycom website the SP 501 phones only go up
to the 4.1.4 bootrom. I'm currently using 4.1.2 with 3.1.2 firmware.

I can see the boot server name being passed in the dhcp offer:
   Option: (t=66,l=11) TFTP Server Name = "my-sipx-system"

I just connected with a tftp client from an other system and tried to
fetch a file. I get "transfer timed out."
