All good questions... I'm slightly embarrassed to mention this...however I've just realized that the ITSP that I thought I've been routing thru, is actually not the one I've been routing thru. On that note, I'm going to make some configuration changes and re-test. I've inadvertantly been using callwithus - I had meant to be using sipstation (bandwidth.com) for this...
Once I'm actually sure which SIP trunk I'm using, I will report back <? Calls failing after about 30 seconds (32, to be exact) are usually indicative of misrouted 200 OKs or ACKs. In an effort to try to isolate the VPN as a contributor to this problem, have you tried making an ITSP call from an identically configured x-lite that would be located in the courthouse? Also, what ITSP are you using? Are local users (the ones at the courthouse) able to make ITSP calls without issues?
