According to Voxitas, this is what we have to do to fix this problem: "We need to have the 11 digit number inserted into the From header field of the call in the initial INVITE. Right now the P-Asserted-Identity is showing the e164 format which will be perfect for the From header field also. I would suggest making the From header +1 and 1- digits to eliminate this problem for the future as some calls require 10 digits and others (toll free) require a minimum of 11 digits in the From header."
If anyone can decipher this, as to how to do this in SipX it would me most helpful. It sounds a bit like unchecking the default P-asserted identity and putting in an asserted identity that is the +1num...@itsp.address. Am I correct on this? If so, I'll give it a try when the phones are not in use. Ly Tran From: Tony Graziano [mailto:tgrazi...@myitdepartment.net] Sent: Wednesday, August 11, 2010 10:49 AM To: Tran, Ly V. If you sign up for a voip.ms account and add a dialplan to send certain calls there, do toll free calls work? does outbbound callerid work? Local / LD calls still works, but toll free numbers still doesn't work. It's time for Voxitas to dig deeper to see if they have made any recent changes or something in Sipx from the recent updates. Outgoing caller ID is not working at this point to external phones or cell phone. Ly Tran
